"An eclectic blend of Americana, folk and country (laced, for good measure, with soul, gospel and jazz) ...stories each wrapped in a gilded coating of rich, gentle and perfectly-balanced music... all done with sumptuous three-part vocal harmonies that would make even a Beach Boy sit up and take notice.  Good Luck Shoes is a polished, highly accomplished album, performed by a band of polished, highly accomplished musicians.... Stunning." At The Barrier

The Lost Notes are a 5-piece acoustic roots band based in the creatively fertile blaglands of Moseley, Birmingham UK. They have built up a loyal fan base across the British Americana/folk and festival circuit through their lively full band performances and more intimate trio gigs.

They write songs for chin-strokers, foot-stompers, head-nodders and those who like to partake in the dark art of inarticulate dancing and hollering. It happens. All delivered in glorious 3 part harmonies.

"A highlight…were Moseley band The Lost Notes.  They…drew a huge crowd for their fast-paced set that was high on fun and audience engagement."

Birmingham Mail – Moseley Folk Festival Review

"The Lost Notes are, without doubt, one of the most exciting bands to have crashed onto the UK Folk scene in years. Superb three-part harmony, beautifully scripted songs, impressive professional musicianship, explosive stage presence and bags and bags of on-stage energy that radiates from them to you and anyone else who is lucky enough to be standing within 100 metres!"

Derry Jones, Woodman Folk Club

"One of the best gigs I have seen all year. They are an amazing live band! ...if you get the chance to see them you should. They do a wide spectrum of music from RnB, funk, blues, country, folk. Excellent! They are such fun!  Green Grass is one of my favourite songs of the year."
